Jan. 6 2022 book discussion - Quite a Year for Plums

 

Ta da! My first post. Sorry it took so long. We're meeting tomorrow night - Jan. 6 at 7 pm PT - to talk about Bailey White's novel, Quite a Year for Plums, published in 1999. I was a fan of White's gravelly voiced NPR commentaries back in the day, and loved her essay collection, Mama Makes Up Her Mind. So I was happy to find her same quirky brand of characters and unique storytelling voice in her fiction.
