1994 BOOK GROUP: THE EARLY YEARS

                        

Here's an image from the first issue of the Chapters, a newsletter that we intermittently published. I have six issues of it. This one captures the group's odium for E.L. Doctorow's not-"Ragtime" novel. The date on the newsletter also raises a question--when did we really begin: 1994 or 1995? Meh, who cares?

Based on what I found in these issues, I updated the list of book's we've read with a dozen or so from 1995 and 1996. But in the process, I also messed up the list's formatting, as you'll see. I can't fix it. Maybe someone else would like to take a shot!
